I’d like to share a poem called “The Flower” by Kim Chun-Soo.
Before I called her by name,
She was nothing but a gesture.
When I called her by name,
She came to me, a flower by me.
As I called her by name.
I would have someone call me by name as befits
This color, this fragrance
I would go to him, his flower by his voice.
We all yearn to become an unforgettable meaning.
You to me, I to you
Here are our children with small but beautiful souls. They will become flowers from mere gestures once we hold their hands. These kids without homes have been trembling with delicate gestures, but their names will be the most beautiful and meaningful when we call them by their names.
We invite you to ‘the feast of the prayer and sharing’ so that we could be each others’ unforgettable meanings. Please join us for helping our children to bloom musical talents and bear fruits through Novitas Alternative School of Music.
